Florida (Goebel) Maynard died at the age of 40 years, 11 months, 13 days due to difficult child birth labor. On July 24, 2004 Private (Maynard) Hauser, Granddaughter of Florida Mae Goebel wrote and told me that Florida Mae had red hair (according to Grandpa Richard C.) and green eyes (according to Aunt Eunice (Maynard) McCoy. She was about 5'3" tall. You could hear Florida laugh before you ever got to her house (according to Gladys (Stepp) Maynard). She was a happy, jolly person (according to Gladys Stepp Maynard and Aunt Eunice. She was well loved by just about everybody according to Bess Williamson her best teenage friend, and sons Richard Delman and Thelman Maynard.
